‘Why Can’t You Do A Yoga Pose?’

Gillian Cawte is a member of the British Wheel of Yoga
and a Senior Teacher with Yoga Alliance UK.
Her teaching style incorporates Hatha Yoga with flows and yin. Sheencourages her students to feel their poses rather than thefocusing on the aesthetics of the pose.
She emphasizes how each individual student can respect and tunein to their own unique body. She explains how poses are performedand likes her students to be comfortably challenged.
Sheencourages her students to take yoga off their mats and into theirdaily lives, focusing on Buddhist principles.

Please bring your own packed lunch. Tea, herbal teas, coffee and biscuits will be available.
Please also bring your own mat, blocks and blankets etc.

Geoff is a long-established hatha yoga teacher who trained with B.K.S. Iyengar. He taught at the Iyengar Institute in London when it first opened. For the past 35 years, he has been based in Snowdonia. A number of IOMYN teachers did their
training with Geoff. He is also a complementary health therapist, specialising in Applied Kinesiologist, NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), nutrition and the subtle energy system (chakras).

Exploring Yoga Asana With Zoe Knott

 Senior Tutor with the British Wheel of Yoga 

London-based Zoe has more than 30 years of yoga practice with different teachers from various traditions. She uses a combination of these styles in her own teaching.

Her fundamental approach is to build strength as the cornerstone of practice and from there all poses become possible.
